Weight Watchers OnLine?
Does anyone have experience with this program? Does it work?
I need to lose 35 lbs and I am sure that working out is not just the problem. I feel like if I track myself I will be better.
However--I never did a DIET before in my life and I am unsure whether it will work for me
TIA

Re: Weight Watchers OnLine?
Both DH and I signed up at the end of May.
DH lost 16.5 Lbs in 3 weeks.
I "officially" lost 7.4 Lbs per the "mommy makeover" but I actually lost 10 Lbs so far in almost 4 weeks.
It works for us.
1/ we HAVE TO track what we eat. Portion control is a huge component of WW. Finding out what we "really" ate in term of points/caloris has been a huge eye opener. You will learn to eat filler food that have less calories.
2/ We don't have to "transition" from prepared diet food back to regular food at home later on.
3/ we don't have time to go to meetings. I would never go. We track everything online. I bought a food scale to know exactly what portion I should eat. I bought a weight scale for for our weekly weigh in.
4/ I did go to a WW location to buy an electronic point calculator. That was such a great advice!

Re: Weight Watchers OnLine?
Jen, IT WILL WORK
I am not a dieter. I like to eat what I want. I am not into frozen packaged meals for every meal either.
WW helps you see how much you are supposed to be eating. I swear, even when I thought I was eating healthy - I was still eating too much.
You will love it. If I want to have skittles, I do, I just account for them in my daily points. I never deprive myself of anything, I just scale back throughout the rest of the day.
This diet works, I swear.
ETA: I never go to meetings, but I do go to get weighed in once a week. If I didn't have to face someone every week I'm not sure I would do as well as I've done.

Re: Weight Watchers OnLine?
I just signed up two days ago for the free 7 day trial. I couldn't believe that when I thought I was eating good, I was adding things up...
like blackberries & watermelon. . .I ended up eating 4 points worth in one sitting. Meanwhile I thought I could be eating them with no problem total eye opener and it's only been 2 days.

Re: Weight Watchers OnLine?
It's been great so far....
I started 11 days ago...and I've lost 3 lbs. It's been really helpful to keep track of what I'm eating and how many points everything really is....

ITA with this! it's amazing how you learn how to eat all the stuff you like but with control! i NEVER dieted in my life and was reluctant to start WW. best thing i did. almost 15lbs lost and i feel as good as i did pre-baby which i thought would never be possible again!
