Brown rice, ww pasta, or ww bread suggestions?
Last week I found out I have gestational diabetes. I am trying to redo my kitchen cabinets. I have a 2 year old and a PITA husband 
Any suggestions for which brown rice to use?
What whole wheat pasta will please a picky husband and diabetic?
Which whole wheat bread do you like and buy?
Any help would be grateful!!!!

I recommend Dreamfields pasta. It's i a black box. It has 5 grams of digestable carbs. It's the only pasta i make.

I just bought the Success boil in a bag brown rice. For a quick rice, it isn't terrible!
For whole wheat bread, try the white wheat. They won't even know the difference!

Basmati brown rice. T.Joes has it or from ebay
To cook, a bit of olive oil & crushed garlic
in pan, add rice, saute for a bit, then add water or i use vegetable broth. taste great ! ... just a couple of spoonfuls fill you up.

Waldbaums has nice whole wheat Italian bread -- its actually really good.
I also like Barilla whole wheat pasta --- the only thing is to remeber not to eat too much of it - its got lots of fiber

I use Trader Joe's organic whole wheat penne, best tasting I have tried. They also have a great brown rice pasta that tastes delicious. For brown rice we usually get the Uncle Ben's long grain brown and wild rice. For bread stick with 100% whole grain. A really healthy 100% whole grain bread is Ezekiel sprouted grain bread also from Trader Joe's. I like the cinnamon raisin version. Also rye bread is low glycemic and takes longer to digest which is good for diabetics. I have also seen the Ezekiel bread in Stop & Shop in the organic section. There is also Ezekiel pasta but it is expensive. HTH!

YES! My mother is type 2 diabetes so we started eating this--now it is all I buy--so good!

The success brown rice i make and then I sautee some garlic peppers and onions and then I throw it in with the brown rice and mix it a little. Tastes soooo good!!!!

ww bread isn't bad... but it isn't good either.
Look for south beach diet recipes.
