My brother lives in a house around the corner, that area is really nice. When my girlfriend 1st got divorced, her and her 2 kids lived there for a while and they were happy there as well.

I don't know much about the apt. complex itself (aside from it's newly - within the past 5-10 years - renovated), but I grew up in the area and it's nice and having the shopping center right there is super convenient and it's really convenient to everything.

Re: fairfield apts in bohemia...

I lived there! If they still have the same super, he was really nice. Some of the nearby strip malls have become a bit run down but I would not say it's a bad area at all. It's in a decent school district. The kitchen in my apartment could have used some upgrading by the time I left but they may have done it. My bathroom was new and nice. I did not like that the pool was all the way in the back but I was starting my business then and still going back to the city to see my old friends and I did not have a lot of time for the pool anyway. There are other complexes nearby that have nicer setups with the pool but otherwise I was pretty happy. I did find that out that there were some thefts in the laundry room but I found a place to send my laundry out for wash 'n fold. Oh, and I had an illegal washing machine in the apartment Chat Icon . I used it for some things that I could wash there and hang dry. The area seemed almost too quiet sometimes but I had moved from the city to Bohemia and that is a big change.
