Tonight Ryan tried
avacado... and love it!!!
I personally, think it looks, tastes and feels gross 
Melberni had suggested it in a thread awhile back, so while I was picking out my fruits and veg. yesterday...I walked past avacados and picked 2 up....
Tonight after he ate his dinner, I cut up about half and gave it to him... Finally a finger food he dosent gag on!!! 
I couldnt believe how much he liked it... (its not sweet or anyting...why DO babies like it?)
It was a litte hard for him to pick up since it was all mushy... so I kinda ended up feeding him.... How do you give it to your baby?

I aggree that it is a weird food but for some reason they just like it and it's so mushy and filled with good healthy stuff in it (its high in fat also but that's OK for babies and it's good fat) so it's good that they liked it!
I'm glad you tried it and that he liked it!!

My sister said it has some similar nutrients as breast milk. Not sure if it's true but since she's a health food fanatic - she's probably right.

Sidney LOVES avocado!!! It is very messy though. I let her pick it up with her fingers and I just lay a dish towel across her lap to keep the mess down. But if she is wearing something special I feed it to her.

Isabella used to love this too, it is so mushy that I would just make tiny chunks and she loved it.
