juice

I am just wondering when everyone started to give juice to their little ones.

I just went to JAcob's 9 month and my dr said no juice. but my brother says he tells his patients at 5-6 months...

My ped told me that to never give juice was fine. I would start with water.

My dr always said no reason for juice really and water is much better. I never gave it to Kevin until he was older for I didn't see the need. Really only of late he started to have it here and there and he is 16 months!!

I started giving it to my oldest at about a year and will do the same with the baby. It was literally a splash of juice with some water. I still water it down in a sippy and he's almost 3.

I've been giving Julia juice and water together in a bottle then sippy since she was 7 mts. My Dr said that it was fine.

She tried watered down juice at 15 months. Once a day she will get watered down juice. she's not a drinker, so my ped siad it was good to do this when they are not drinkers to get the fluids in them.

we started water early and I started with 1/2 oz juice in 4 oz water. now its 8 oz water with the 1/2 oz juice...one day I will phase it out, but its force of habit now.
