For those who have done IVF and received the grant

If you did IVF and received the NYS grant, did your copay include all costs? I am in the process of applying for the grant and was told by my doctor's financial department that the grant covers everything but I know sometimes other costs can pop up. So if you incurred other costs, would you mind sharing what they were for? TIA!

I had to pay for the co-pays with my ins.... however.. after my cycle was done.. i was issued a refund for the amount i had paid.. the first time with the grant.. i had to pay. $275 in meds. the second time with the grant i had to pay $65 in meds. I will get it back in a couple of months. Just be aware of what is covered by your ins. this they might have you pay.. but they will reimburse you back..

if there is anything else you would like to know, let me know. i just had transfer yesterday of my second and last ivf cycle with the grant.

When I did the grant it paid for everything b/c my insurance company would not cover anything. I was very lucky. Good Luck

my insurance won't cover anything related to IVF, not even meds. thanks for the feedback.

then unless you have a co-payment for how much you make.. it will have no extra charges.
