Jenny Craig Diet
Have any of you ladies been on the Jenny Craig diet? From whatever information I read on their website it sounds like a good plan, especially when they bring all the food ready to your door I'm assuming that the food is pre-packed & frozen ... but is it only microwaveable or can you also put it in the oven? It may sound like a silly question but I don't have a microwave at home and no space for it either

Re: Jenny Craig Diet
I just started a few weeks ago. I actually go to the centereach location but you can get it delivered to you. The food can be heated in the oven as well as the microwave. HTH!!

Great!!! Thanks for the info! How do you like it so far? Have you been loosing weight as fast as you hoped you would? How much on average have you lost per week, and did that involve working-out also? Sorry for all the questions but I'm sick and tired of trying out the wrong diets all the time

Re: Jenny Craig Diet
I've never done it but one of my friends did it a few years ago. She lost a lot of weight on it but she eventually stopped because she got tired of the pre-packaged meals and didn't find it to be a realistic life change. She said she had a hard time going out to eat and just got tired of it. She did enjoy the meals and snacks but said that it all just got to be too much for her. Unfortunately she gained most of the weight back when she stopped.

No problem! I'm down 6.5lbs and i'm on my third week. And thats without exercising. I'm happy with the amount i've lost so far. The food is good, and for me its easy to just throw something in the microwave because i have a 4 month old at home. When you hit your half way goal they start introducing other foods that you eat (ones that aren't bought through jenny craig). So that way your starting to eat on your own and not following their meals. Truthfully, I feel most diets do work-- you just have to stick with it. I think it's the hardest thing to do, and i'm finally mentally ready to lose the weight. I decided i'm tired of not liking my body and i don't want to pass on my body image issues to my daughter. So i wish you luck! And if you have any other questions just let me know

Re: Jenny Craig Diet
I was on Jenny Craig about a year ago for a few months and lost 20lbs. It did get hard after a while to continue with the same foods over and over. I stopped going and after a while I did gain most of my weight back. I couldn't transition myself to eat right when I went out.
I recently just became so disgusted again that I went back on it and tomorrow will be my second week. It was the only thing that actually worked for me. I feel by going and talking to the one on one counselor it made me try harder to loose it. I was down 4lbs my first week back on it and I weighed myself since then and it looks like I am down another 3lbs. (we'll see tomorrow)
And yes you could put the food in the oven...
Good luck if you decide to go on Jenny!

Re: Jenny Craig Diet
I have been on since middle of January and have lost 36 pounds. I lost all the baby weight and more... I am where I was for my BRIDAL shower.
The food is great but I only get the ones I want.
