Update on me...
Sorry I've been MIA, but not much has been going on! I feel like I need to get this out to someone, so here goes...CD3 was Memorial Day, did testing, was told to start Clomid and to come back on CD12 (today). Now comes the part where I am almost kinda confused...
I had my bloodwork and sono and my left ovary had follicles measuring about 15-17mm. The ones on the right are smaller. The nurse said this was good and that they get into the 20s when they are ready to roll...is that how it works?
I need to go back on Friday for another blood/sono and was told to make sure I get the "trigger shot" in my possession...kinda nervous that I'll do it in the wrong spot! Is this weird?

Hey!!  congrats on those follies! The way the nurse described it is exactly how it works- once they start measuring in the low 20s you are ready to roll!  They tend to grow around 2mm per day ,from what I recall .. so that would put Friday at perfect timing to use the trigger shot!
The trigger is so fool proof, you will be fine!! Hmm I just took the liberty of looking for a video on youtube of someone doing it but the videos I clicked on were such drama queens   Anyway, just pinch the skin like an inch to the right or left of your belly button and like an inch down. You will be so proud of yourself when it's over with that "that was it?" feeling!! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone is nervous the first shot. The anxiety before is the worst part. The shot is so thin you barely feel anything and its fool proof. You will be fine!!! Good luck !

You put the whole needle in to the base of the syringe.
It really is just a pinch. Have DH watch a few instuctional vids on youtube and make him to do.

If you go to the Freedom Fertility website there's a video to show you how to inject the Ovidrel. It's really easy. Good luck!

Thanks AGAIN, I really feel so fortunate for all of this support..went again for monitoring and that long follie is still only measuring 18 (only one mm bigger!) so I am going for monitoring again tomorrow..no trigger yet! I am supposed to go for a glucose tomorrow, so now I am trying to reschedule...I feel like I'm living at the dr.! Thanks for the encouragement, I think I will be alright, it's just the anticipation of it all!

the anticipation is so much worse! The trigger shot will be FINE, the IUI will be FINE and then I hope to see a nice BFP!!! What a fantastic way that would be to start off the summer!!
