Steakhouse in St.James/
Any good steakhouses in St.James, Smithtown vicinity? Doesn't have to be anything fancy just good steak? Also not limited to those two towns just in that area.
Also Italian?

Vintage Steakhouse in St. James is supposed to be good. Then there's also Pace's in Hauppauge, or Port Jeff, depending on which direction you want to travel. All the good Italian places in that area either closed or changed ownership so I can't recommend.

I eat in Vintage pretty frequently. It is consistently good although I don't think it is as good as Prime.
In terms of Italian, I like Butera's, La Familigia and Casa Rustica. I've never been dissappointed at any of these places.

For italian, I'd travel east on 347 and go to Carnival in Port Jeff Station
