would u sign up for a 10k if ur ttc?
DH and I are going to TTC starting mid july. I want to train for a 10K that is Aug 22 . Should I still sign up? I did the LI Half in May and I've been slacking on the running, but I'm in shape so it's not like I'm putting new stress on my body. WWYD?

I would ask your doctor - I think it would be early on enough that it wouldn't be a problem but best to ask the experts...

exercise is not a bad thing when you are PG or trying and since you are already a runner YES keep doing it.

I would. If you're already in good running shape & will be training well ahead of time, I think it's close enough to the time you'll start TTC so that it won't be a problem.

I think it would be fine. At most, you would be one month pregnant, and I think if you're already in shape, running that mileage wouldn't be harmful as long as you're well-hydrated. I don't know if I'd do a marathon, but a 10K I'd think you'd be fine.

I run/ jog about 4-5 miles 3x a week. I have continued this while pregnant. It is what my body is used to. If your heart rate is up so high that you are unable to speak two sentences then you need to slow down your pace.

I would and I did. I was already running when we decided to ttc our second child so I kept to my training plan for a 10K I was doing in a few months. I ended up running my first 10K at 8 weeks pregnant. As long as your doctor's are okay with it, then I would imagine it would be fine.
