WW Question
I just started WW on Friday. I have a lot of weight to lose, so I am allowed to have 34 points in a day. How important is it that I use every single point? I am finding myself after dinner having to force myself to eat more even if I am not hungry to eat close to that.
Also, how often do you get on the scale? I am only doing the online WW, so I will be weighing in at home.
Thanks!!!

Re: WW Question
If you are full then you don't have to use all of your points. You shouldn't mindless eat just because you have points leftover for the day. As long as you are making good choices and your not starving yourself then you are good to go.
I would stick to weighing yourself once a week for your weigh-ins this way you don't focus too much on the scale everyday

Re: WW Question
You should eat all of your points. If you have points to burn you should eat some fruit/something healthy.
Maybe you can add some extra points in for breakfast or lunch so that you don't have so many left over after dinner?

Re: WW Question
I was told that you have to eat all your points.
I have weighted myself a few times this week (that was my 1st week of ww online).
But in my head, only Monday morning counts for weight in.

Re: WW Question
You have to use all of your points. I started out with a lot of points as well and in the beginning I was having a hard time hitting them. My leader told me she would rather me go over each day by one point then go under. She suggested to have simple point fillers like a spoonful of peanut butter and a glass of milk. A handful of almonds, peanuts, etc. These won't fill you up at all but it will help you hit your points. I do have some days where I just wasn't really hungry all day and I have tons of points left over at night. But for the most part I make sure I hit my daily total every day. As you get more used to the program you'll find a plan that works for you and before you know it you'll start losing the weight and wish you had those points back!

Re: WW Question
Forgot to answer your scale question, I only count the once a week weigh in but I weigh myself every day in the morning and at night. I do this because it helps keep me motivated and I like to see how different foods and drinks affect my weight. Some people would get discouraged by it but I find it helpful and motivating.

Re: WW Question
you should eat all your points because they are set so your metabolize will stay up....if you dont eat enough you will start to mess with it and you will not see the results you want.
Only weigh yourself once a week.

ITA-on eating your points and on doing only weekly weigh ins. You will see trends as you weigh yourself weekly, same time/day whereas it is hard to see the big picture with daily weigh ins because you do have fluctuations throughout the week.

Re: WW Question
Eat them all... as you start to loose weight and your points drop, if you're already eating the lower points, you may find it difficult to loose weight since you aren't cutting calories per say.
When I find I have left over points at night, I'll usually have a tablespoon of reduced fat PB (2 points) or a glass of 2% milk (2 points)...something nutritious... fruit works, protein. Just don't fill them with Skinny Cox ice cream sandwiches which is what I'd LIKE to do
Good luck!
