Renters

How negotiable is "No pets"? I have a six pound maltese.

Re: Renters

"No pets" may be tougher, especially if you have a dog, but it is really up to the landlord.

Our building allows one cat, with anything else being "case by case" and they were flexible, but we've also seen buildings that would not budge on their no-pets policy. In my experience buildings were more likely to allow cats than dogs

Re: Renters

perhaps they will increase rent by 25 dollars or so

most complexes do that for pets as for wear and tear

maybe you can consider asking them, if you really love an apt?

Re: Renters

we are renting out an apt in a house we co-own with my BIL and SIL. (They are living in the house.) My BIL is highly allergic to many many things, so we have to have a strict no pets rule for renters. It all depends....

Re: Renters

we paid a little more for security to have our dog. they orginally wanted only a small dog, but we told them our dog was a little now, but he was going to get bigger, being that he was a puppy.
