Hmm. Will they be able to get me in?

So my drs last "procedure" date for this cycle is the 18th of June.

Usually they do FET's on day 18 of your cycle as long as your lining is the correct thickness.

In my case it looks like I am a day off (day 18 would be the 19th for me).

The nurse says we can try if I'm not ready by then, we would just have to wait for another AF and start again. In reality it would just be a set back of a few weeks.

I'm thinking that they should be able to up my meds to thicken my lining a bit more by that date, no?

Is there anything I can try to do it naturally?

Then I am thinking, should I take all the meds and stuff if it might not work out this month?

Not sure what to do!!!!

I'm confused.

Are your frozen embryos day 3 or day 5?

Usually what they do is have the transfer 3 or 5 days after you ovulate (whether naturally or simulated through meds) and then transfer that day....

I do not ovulate on my own at all unless I do injectables.

They so the transfer based on my lining and when I *should* ovulate (usually it's day 14 for most people).

You don't NEED to ovulate to do a transfer, you're body just needs to think you have which is why they do hormone replacment meds.

My RE generally does transfers for FET on 3 day embies day 17 and 5 day embies on day 19, but they told me there is a great deal of flexibility on the actual date of transfer...He even told us the schedule could be tailored to fit a certain doctors schedule if we wanted to transfer with a certain RE at the practice....

Ok .. Thats what I thought. I think as long as the lining is above a certain thickness, they can pretty much do it whenever.

I am just Chat Icon that my lining will get there before the 18th.

gotcha!

I did 2 FETs and was always able to pick my exact transfer date....

Mine were also medicated (even though I do ovulate on my own) so they basically trick my body into thinking it has ovulated through the various medications... but for me, there was a set date for transfer based on when I started taking Endometrin or PIO
