Mom's Night Out
I'm planning a Mom's Night Out at my house for about 8 neighborhood ladies around 8 pm.
I'm thinking about serving wine and appetizers. Does this sound like enough appetizers? If not, can you recommend something?
Sundried Tomato and Basil Pesto Torta served with crostini
Prosciutto wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese and basil
Chicken satay with Thai peanut sauce
Shrimp ceviche cups
For drinks, I'm thinking white wine and something else??. Clear liquids only because i have white slipcovers and a veerrry light sofa.
Also, which invite do you like best? I can change the wording.

Re: Mom's Night Out
I am having a hard time seeing the invites.
Anyways----I'd probably throw in some fresh fruit, cheese, crackers and maybe pita baked with oil and spices, and some hummus.
Different kinds of white wines sound good.
You could probably also make sangria, but use white wine instead of red.

Re: Mom's Night Out
I agree with the cheese/fruit/crackers and maybe some veggies and dip/hummus.
I like the first invite.
You could do champagne with peach or some other "white" juice. Or a champagne punch. Sounds fun!
