Centeral Air installation how much?
For a 3bedroom ranch? anyone know about an idea. Just trying to decide if we get this house, if its CAC is one our first investments into it.

it matters what type of heat you have
if you have duct work - then it will be cheaper
we had to add duct work because we had base boards - i think it cost around 6 thousand for our upstairs- our vents are run through the attic - but the returns took up some closet space

As the PP said it depends on the heating. We ran central air and heat last year. All of our walls were open (our house was being gutted) and the total came to $13,000. We needed 3 units since all 3 floors are on different unit.

The previous owners put one in right before they sold it to us, and it cost them 15k. We have a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom ranch.
