Re: jenny craig vs ww
Jenny Craig they supply you with the food. Weight Watchers you make food yourself.
On WW you are alotted a certain amount of points based on height, weight, age, activity level.
From there you have books that tell you how many points a particular food is (there is also a way to calculate points).
They have guidelines of what you should eat a day (5 servings fruits & veggies, 2 calcium, etc.)

Re: jenny craig vs ww
I believe jenny craig is more money since you have to buy their food.
WW you can eat anything you want as long as you budget your points for it.

Re: jenny craig vs ww
Here is my take on it from what I've seen..however I've only ever done WW..
Jenny Craig is much more money because you have to eat their food..at least at first you do..I think you slowly wean off their food and begin incorporating normal food into the diet...I looked into doing Jenny Craig when I graduated college and I want to say it was going to cost close to $400 right off the bat! But maybe thats a bit higher than what it was..
Weight watchers you get what you want. However, you have to stay within your daily points. It's pretty straightforward. It's usually a slower weight loss than other systems BUT it has the highest proven success rate because losing weight at a slow and steady pace means it's usually easier to keep off...
My best friend did Jenny Craig a few years back and did great with it. It was a better plan for her because she liked being told exactly what to eat. For ME, I couldn't do that...I don't love prepackaged food at all.
With weight watchers its great b/c I could have pizza...just 1 slice and a salad as opposed to my usual 2 slices. I also had ice cream, fast food etc...but obviously smaller portions. I lost on average 1-2 pounds/week and kept it off for years until I had my babies. Now I am back on it and once again doing great.
Good luck!

I love that I can eat whatever I want and just keep track of the points. It is SO easy to follow also.
