So I ran a full 20 minutes last night and...

even though it's not much, a few weeks ago I could not even jog for 60 seconds since these last few years I lost all endurance and strength...

I am going through so much pain in my personal life and after I accomplished this, I cried happy tears. So if anyone is down or going through a rough time, I truly recommend exercising!!!It has def helped me these last few weeks

Congrats!! Isn't it a great feeling?

I am absolutely certain that doing couch to 5k during the most difficult time of my dissertation work got me through it. I was so NOT a runner, so to be able to run more than a mile made me feel like I could do anything! It was very therapeutic.

Great job and keep going! You'll make it to 3 miles in no time! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

you theraputic! I started marathon training when my DH was misdiagnosed with a fatal disease. I couldn't cry in front of him or the kids, so I would cry in the middle of running. People must thought I was crazy.

Congrats you're doing great! You should feel very proud, it's a big deal! Chat Icon

And I agree about the mood benefits. I think if I didn't exercise regularly I'd need to go on medication for my anxiety. Working out really has helped calm me down & helps me feel better about life.
