i think i missed my IUI chance

Sorry this is so long.i introduced myself the other day and got many positive responses from you ladies, thank you.
i was at Dr rosenfeld on fri, which is when i went in for my post coital. at that point he suggested IUI bc my CM didnt hold any sperm. he told me i should ovulate sun or mon and i made apts for both mornings. I took did my clearblue OPK and got a smiley fri nigh..i couldnt go sat morning due to the fact me and my dh were in a wedding sat. i tested again sat night and just before and both were negative which is why i didnt go this morning. Should i have went this morning?..i dont think it would matter much to go tom. im so upset...i didnt know who to turn to for advice. thanks in advance.

I would still go in tom with your dhs sample. When you drop off the sample go and ask if you can speak to one of the nurses. They will probably do a quick sono to see if the follicle is still around . If it is then they will definetlly do it.

You would ovulate 24-48 hours after your smiley.

Your smiley indicates HORMONE surge (not your ovulation)... so you should have gone Sunday (probably would have been perfect timing).

Since you are 2 full days and more out, I think you just about missed your window.

You may want to go in today (or not depending on if you have to pay out of pocket).

I would wait until your next cycle.

i have to be at work by 8am downtown manhattan otherwise i would have went early this morning (no point missing another day of work). I will call the doctors office this am and see what they say.

I was a patient of Dr Rosenfeld and did medicated IUI with him and got pregnant on round #2.
Trust him, trust the nurses, they know best, I know its difficult to follow their lead, but believe me they are well versed in this. You mentioned you had a wedding to attend- that reminds me of what I did. I also had a wedding and brought a cooler w/ my medicine and went to my car, pulled up my skirt and gave myself a shot in the parking lot. I look back and think "whatever it takes" and that has folllowed me throughout this blessed pregnancy- you'll get BFP!!
B/c dh sperm count wasn't an issue, we did bd after day #2
