Growth or Follies on Femara

Im wondering how big are your follies on cd 10? Do your follies grow faster on femara than on clomid?

This is my first cycle on femara 5mg last cycle I was on clomid 100 and had one egg on each side by cd 9.... One was like 16.5 and i think the other was like 18. I triggered the next day at 9pm.

Im wondering bc Dr. B is going to check me on day 9 (thurs) and is hoping to trigger and try to get an IUI in before he heads on vacation for memorial day weekend. I just really hope Im ready to trigger by thurs.....

Every cycle, every woman is different of course, and it depends how well you respond to meds.

I have pretty much always went in to Dr. B on Day 10 and was ready to trigger the next day on 5mg of Femara...usually had one follie on each side right about to mature..around 17-20mm.

He maybe away next weekend, but i am sure someone has to be on call at AF.

im the opposite - im never ready to trigger on day 10 alone, and i usually do femara and injectables together. i usually have to keep injecting for a few more days before the follies are ready. i think mine are usually 13/14mm by day 10.

Another quest: Do you think I should make my appt for Thursday in the morning...OR should I make my appt for Thurs at 4pm (so that maybe it can grow more lol) and then make my appt for the IUI Friday afternoon also??
