Don't do it!

You have fair skin and you haven't been out in 6 years, don't do it!

This is what I was going to say. If you are THAT pale I doubt a tanning salon will do you any good either.

And I have also heard about the "myth" of the base tan. It's not true...

Go get spray tanned! It works great.

Well, I am pale with red hair and some freckles, but not totlally pale pale. (if that makes sense) I actually do get a tan though. It has to be gradual and always starts as a burn then turns tan by the next day. My brother, on the other hand gets red, then white the next day when it goes away. He just never tans.

I'm still going to spray though. Then use sunscreen on the cruise and I'll probably stil get a little color that way.

No, you are what you are.

believe me, I am married to a golden skinned spanish man...it only makes me look more white and freckled.

it is what it is. When I watch desperate housewives and look at bree's skin, that is what i am aiming for these days. derm told me to keep a hat on my head. now is the time that is going to make or break us wrinkle wise.

have an excellent time!!
