You Can't Screw Them Up Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

My girlfriend gave me a recipe for double chocolate chip cookies that is just ridiculous. I promise you that it takes no time, few ingredients and virtually no labor. And they taste great. So if you have a 20 minutes and a desire for homemade chocolate cookies.. here's your fix:

1 box of any kind of boxed Devil's food cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
Chocolate chips - whatever kind you want

Dump everything into a bowl and stir until well blended. Roll the dough into little balls and then roll the balls in coarse sugar (you can use regular sugar if you don't have coarse or raw). Put the balls on your cookie sheet (I use parchment paper for easy release.. but I'm sure you'd be fine with a plain non-stick cookie sheet). Pop them in the oven for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

That's it. Double chocolate chip cookies. Delicious. Easy. If you have kids - they are going to love you more than they do now. Your hips - on the other hand - may curse you.Chat Icon

Aren't they? I let my 9 year old and 6 year old do them - they were THAT easy! The only thing I did was put them in and take them out of the oven.. they did everything else!Chat Icon

There is a bunch of different recipes out there for these, with different flavors of cake mix. I've only tried the chocolate, but they all look yummy!

Where can I find them?? My kids had such a good time making them.. I'd love to let them do more! It's a lot less stressful baking with them when there are minimal ingredients involved!Chat Icon

thanks for this! Sounds so easy and yummy. I have to bring something to a BBQ next week and with a 6 week old, it's hard to find time to bake, I think these will be easy enough and I already have the ingredients.
