What frames would you use?

What frames would you use?
Here is what I have hanging above my sofa in my LR. I want to do a picture gallery going up the stairway. Should I buy the frames so they match these? The frames I have are the ones I used in my first home which are black wood floating (instead of matting it is glass).

I think it all depends on the color of your stairs, as in the carpet or the wood color.
What color are your stairs?
