So, how does this work?
Do you pic paint colors first and then decide on furniture? Or do you decide on furniture and then pick paint colors? Does all the furniture in rooms close by have to match?
Soo confused on where to start for decorating theme/ideas!!

Re: So, how does this work?
I did it at the same time...or generally had an idea of how I was going to decorate.
*Like I knew I wanted beige cabinets for the kitchen *I knew the furniture in the living area wasn't going to be the permanent couches so I had to plan that accordingly but I kept what colors I'd prefer in mind *bedroom- I picked out bedding and then decorated *bathroom- I picked out shower curtain and planned accordingly

Re: So, how does this work?
There are thousands of colors of paint (probably more like two million, since that's about what our eyes can differentiate between), so it's much easier to get paint that complements or contrasts or coordinates with furniture than the other way around.

i'd pic furniture first... then with the largest piece of furniture in each room-- pick a paint color that complements.
