craigslist... type in vickiisvintage. she is in west islip and you can go there and see all of her pieces... i have bought a lot from her and its way cheaper than getting it in stores and its real wood that has been refinished rather than getting particleboard at some store. Prices are good too.

Europine in RVC
We had them make some pieces for our room but night stands from Homegoods.
They will make what you want and they have tons of finishes to pick from.

Re: Where can I buy shabby chic furniture?
I've purchased a few things from Vicki in W Islip too. People travel from the City to come see her and her shed of goodies. There's another woman on CL who sells refurbished stuff as well. If you put "Michelle Centerport" in the search area, you will get all her stuff.
But both of them are 99% redone pieces, mostly in white unless requested. I bought a piece for my daughter's room from Vicki for next to nothing and refinished it myself bc I wanted specific colors which I had already. Beautiful and solid wood.

Try Garden Gate in ROckville Center, Peter Andrews, and there is another store that I can't think of the name but its in Wantagh right by the train. Its off of Sunrise by the huge bike store. If I think of it, Ill repost, but they have GORGEOUS shabby chic furniture.
