What are some things that freeze well?
It's so hard during the week to really cook- I'm looking for things I can make in bulk over the weekend and then freeze to eat during the week.

Re: What are some things that freeze well?
I make a pot of sauce as usual and put ground turkey in it to make a meat sauce. When I defrost it... I add other stuff...mushrooms or whatever to put over pasta.
Chili which I make not spicy so DS can eat & DH & I add our own spice.
Chicken cacciatore freezes really well! And I make it in the crock pot to make it even easier!!
Chicken soup.....we add rice or pasta or tortellini to it when we eat it maybe have some spanicoppita on the side! OR I make these little spinach/turkey meatballs that DS DEVOURS and just roll them up & add to boiling soup to cook them!!
I premix all meatloaf ingrediants & freeze it. Take it a night or 2 before & bake when I get home.

Wanted to add:
I make a vegitarian chili. We have it with brown rice.
Then I freeze it. When i am reheating it, I brown up ground turkey & add it to it to make it a little different!
