anyone take bcps for ivf and still ovulate?
did bcps for over 3 weeks adn there wasw still a follicle hanging around!!! ***...grrr this is dr bs protocol...so had to do hcg shot this week to get rid of it so we c ould start the suppression stage of ivf.
i asked him why it happened and he said it could still happen on bcps cause some women get pg on bcps... but..... i am sooo frustrated!!! i cant get pg...YET i ovulate when I AM PUT ON THE PILL......
now i asked him if we should bd but he said it wasnt a good follicle....so keeping fingers crossed for better bloodwork on monday...but anyone been in this positition before?i feel like i wasted almost a month before i even begin the suppression and stim stage...sigh!!!!

 it did happen to a friend of mine - twice.
is he going to give you stronger bcps?

hi ty for responding.... he said to do the hcg shot and come in monday and see if its gone....andthen start suppression stage with lupron i think...
i am definately going to ask though,,,if this cycle doesnt work....should we even bother with bcps next time? i feel like i lost so much time ya know

Yup...happed to me. My RE just skipped the suppression part. We just started cycle day 3
