My first day ALONE!!!
Today is my first day alone with DD and our dog in our house. 
The first week I was home I had DH here, last week my MIL stayed with us, and now I am alone. I am only 3 weeks post-op from my c-section and I am getting overwhelmed. I guess the laundry and dishes will wait until DH get s home. 
Any advice??? TIA

Don't do anything you can't handle. I didn't have a c/s but one thing I learned was to not overdo it or you are useless to your little one...Just focus on taking care of her and you for the first few days...

Yeah dont over do it, when my DH went back to work, I just waited for him to get home to help me with the stuff around the house. I just took care of Julia and that was it. I think he got real use to doing all the work around the house cause he still does it, no problems!

i was so overwhelmed my first week too. My advice, don't do anything but concentrate on the baby. I left the laundry alone, didn't clean, and ate off of paper plates. I did a little bit more each day once I gained some confidence I could do this and was feeling a little better. Take baby steps
I didn't have a c section, but I did have a really hard delivery and was in alot of pain. I am still very uncomfortable.
It will get easier once you get in a groove, I am still trying to get into that groove, but almost there!

I had a c-section too. Just worry about you and the baby- everything else can wait. If you try to do everything you will go crazy. DH can help when he gets home, you still need some rest. Good luck.

Yes, same advice here. AND if the baby goes down to sleep...you do the same!
The laundry will still be there when your husband gets home!!!
