Re: Quick Question
Usually after 18 weeks, but most likely, you will have a level 2 sono at 20 weeks.

What is a level 2 sono Sorry I have never been pregnant
Yeah, I should have explained that more, this is my first pregnancy, and I was confused by all the terminology at the beginning, too! Heck, I'm STILL confused! Haha. Ok, you will have at least three sonograms, one to confirm the pregnancy, usually at your first appt. or somewhere around that time, then you will have an ultrascreen around 12-13 weeks, that is to look for abnormalities that may (or may not) tell you if your baby is at risk for certain things like downs syndrome, then around 20 weeks, you will have what they call a level 2 sonogram, where they measure the baby's head and spine and basically just check out that everything is developing the way it should. That's when they can usually detect the gender. HTH!
