? in regards to foods....
DS turned 6 months. I forgot to ask the DOC if it is okay to start giving him "yogurt". Anyone know the answer? If you can, what brands are you using? TIA
Also, at what age can babies have Ice Cream? Just curious...

My doctor gave the okay for yogurt at 9 months. I don't know if I'd try it sooner than that. As for ice cream, I'm not sure.

I started giving Ryan yogurt at about 6.5 months...
I didnt ask... I just tried it out... since he had no reactions to it, I continued it... At his 7 month visit...I told the Dr I had been giving it to him, and he said that it was great since yogurt is high in fat!
I give him yobaby- I usually get the one mixed with cereal... and have tried both...
Like everything else..... try it for 3 days before doing anything else...
As far as ice cream... I would say @ 7 months I started giving him a tiny taste of vanilla if I was having some... he's a only had a few tastes a few times....

I think for most they say 9 months. I know we only got the OK for meats at 6 months.
