Laundry room shelving

Where did you buy shelving for your laundry room? I would also like a table to fold the laundry. Any suggestions what I should get for the space we have?

See pic below. It is on our second floor. I would also like to eventually buy the drawers that go under the washer/dryer but they are too much $$$ for now!

I ask because I have about the same size Laundry room with the same washer/dryer. We have cabinets with a sink and table as well. I'll see if I can take a picture for you. Ikea has great quality and beautiful looking cabinets. good luck.

DH installed cabinets above our washer dryer. They are from HD.. I love them and am so happy we did this!

Re: Laundry room shelving

I agree with the cabinet suggestion.

I also wanted to say - don't bother with the under drawer things. They're a waste. We bought them - I still keep all my detergent on top of the washer/dryer b/c the drawer is too shallow to fit the big detergent bottles.

Plus the drawer things add a lot of height so it's not really conducive to using the tops as add'l counter space, kwim?

Re: Laundry room shelving

here you go. We did not get the drawers for under the units. I didn't want them. I wanted the units to be level to the cabinets as well as be able to fold on top of them. We still have to re-do the flooring and upgrade the fridge. The cabinets are the same as my kitchen cabinets just different hardware.
hold on, the pics didn't come thru

Re: Laundry room shelving

I second the IKEA cabinet idea and would also suggest, to save space, you do a counter on top of the w/d - that'll give you your folding table.

(I didn't just come up with this - it's our plan in the future Chat Icon)

Re: Laundry room shelving

What a great space! I agree i'd do cabinetry above and on the side of the washer/dryer so that they look built in. Or shelving above and floor length cabinets on the side to make for a closet look. I also agree with ikea, we got our shelving there for our laundry room (we had it from a while ago and painted it).
