Can really hot weather affect your weigh in?
Does this affect water retention? I weighed myself this morning and I'm 4 lbs heavier than on Thursday!  I worked out on Friday and I was not horrible this weekend. The only thing I can think of is that it is super hot here in MD and maybe I have swelling and water retention.

Yes, when it's warmer you hold onto more water.
This morning I woke up and went to put my rings on - and they were so painful. Between the increased temps and more sodium than usual (birthday dinner) I am so swollen.
It sounds counterintuitive, but if you drink more water you will hold onto less of it.

Yeah, I know. It flushes you out. That's why I'm going to be super strict today and have a lot of water. I'll see how that affects my weight tomorrow.

I definitely think so. I am more swollen in hot weather. More swelling=more weight.

I've already chugged half of what I normally drink in a full day. I've made it my mission to drink more water this week!
