How did you tell them?
I told my parents and dh's parents Monday night by taking pics of the positive PG tests and framing them. I thought they were going to fall off their chairs..LOL How do I start telling the rest of my family and friends? Any cute ideas? Thank You all again!

Re: How did you tell them?
We told our family for easter since we were all together. I bought bibs for everyone. I love my grandma, grandpa, auntie. And we put each one in a box and after dinner we gave everyone there box but told them they couldn't open them till we said so then when everyone had their box we said "ok open them" and my SIL got it first and yelled "you're pregnant" and then everyone went crazy.

I just called my mom in shock because I couldn't believe it! She basically told anyone else in a 30 mile radius

We did something similar with our parents, but grandma was in their native language. However, being that they had no clue that we were TTC, both moms just stared at it wondering why we gave them hand towels.
My SIL figured it out, my brother just kept saying "Oh my God, no." Then a drinking fest began with me excluded of course. The moms didn't really get it until the next day.
We have it on video too!
ETA: here's the web site where we got them - web site

Re: How did you tell them?
Easter sunday we knew we were going to both sides of the family so we just blurted it out when we got there. The family knows we have been trying for so long so to hide it or keep it wasnt a choice for us. My mothers side however doesnt all know like all of my aunts and uncles but will be surprised when they see me in July I will be showing so surprise!!!

Re: How did you tell them?
we gave my parents a bear with a bib on it (it said "grandma's busy bee/grandpa's busy bee) as well as a sono pic in a frame - they didn't get it at first until we showed them the pic.....but it was funny "watching the wheels in their head turn"
for dh's dad, (he lives in the apt in our house) - we told him we wanted to have a fmaily mtg that night....we dont often have those but had been on him to clena up a little down there the week before....so as soon as we came down he starte dwith how "he likes things the way they are, its fine w/him, yada yada yada...." and then we told him that we were sorry that things were going to change this fall when we were having a baby...he was dumbfounded....
actually most people (including us at the beginning) were....
