Joining WW (in person not online)
Can someone please explain to me 1) what you get and 2) the benefits of joining WW and going to an actual meeting?
I tried the online thing twice and just didn't feel that it helped.
My hubby and I are looking to start something new on Monday.

the in person meetings are MUCH more effective IMHO
you weigh in, they give out a small pamphlet each week with some tips and recipes
then the meeting is about 30 minutes
I love my instructor, she is totally in your face

I just joined and went to my first meeting this morning!
I did the monthy pass that allows unlimited meetings, free e-tools registration etc for 39.95 a month(9.99 per week is what it works out to).
This week I got Book 1 Food Plan Basics.
Great instructor. My good friend and I joined together and I am excited!

If you go to a meeting you learn more cause you are hearing everyone else and what works or doesn't work for them.
I also think it is very important to find a meeting you like.
I have found the best group.....that these people are now close friends.
I have been a lifetime for over 2 years and I truly believe part of the reason for my success is the meetings.

I have done WW in the past(many years ago) and always went to the meetings. I need that positive reinforcement!

Does anyone go to the W. Babylon location where they can recommend a specific meeting?

As others have said if you do the online unlimited you can go to unlimited meetings and you get the etools or $39.99--works out to 9.99 a meeting as opposed to @ 13..so it is a better deal

I go to West Babylon and go to the Fri morning meeting (815) Love the leader Joan and the people in the group are an amazing group of mostly women but we do have a few men.

For me the 2 biggest benefits of doing the meetings is the accountability and the suggestions and support you get from your leader and other members. I don't know that I would be as successful online because it's easier to give up and you don't get the interaction with people as much. I know they have chat boards and stuff but you still have access to that just by joining.

yes. they do that after the meeting. u learn a lot at the meetings from the other members
