Dear Terminex Guy
Does it really need to be said that you should shut the gate when you leave so my dog cannot get out????
He left the side gate open, the side we never use so I did not check that it was closed
my dog got out, thank GOD dh found her but still, isn't it common sense to shut gates when you are done with them?

No. It isn't. 
Everytime someone comes to our house to do something (landscapers, Slomins, terminex, my LANDLORDS) I have to remind them to shut our gate b/c of Maggie
ETA-I feel, if it was closed when I came in it, then it should be closed when I come OUT of it
