How much cardio do you need?

I have read before that you don't need more than a half hour...but I'm trying to LOSE weight, not sustain where I'm at...

How much cardio should I be doing?

I vary between the bike, running and the crossramp/elliptical.

I can't even lose a freakin lb. Its making me NUTS.

i would say 45 minnutes at least three times week.

Also I remember hearing that 60% of weight loss is what you eat, so while of course excerise helps you lose it is also about eating well.

if you want to lose decrease calories. It's actually more like 90% food related to lose weight. I lost all my weight by cutting back and didnt exercise at all during that time.

I would say at least 1/2 hr of cardio is needed just for good health.

Trim back on your calorie intake and 30-45 mins 4-5x a week would be good.

Before our wedding I was really watching what i ate and following my nutritionist plan strictly. I did only 3 sessions of cardio a week for 20 minutes each time. You dont need a ton of cardio if your diet is in check.
