went to a shower and want the recipe...UPDATED...with recipe
I was at a shower and someone made An Asian/Chinese Noodle dish (I am guessing that is what they called it) I only took a little bec I never usually eat Chow/Lo mein when we order take out!
BUT I loved it! It was Delish! and I don't really know the host to ask her for the recipe I am pretty sure she didnt make but someone who came to the shower as a guest!
In it was the noddles and peas, and snow peas as garnish on top!
anyone know of a recipe similar to this so I can try to recreate it!
Thanks so much!

Ask the host, I am sure the guest who brought it would be honored that you liked it.
I had one of my friends ask me for the recipe to a dish I made that another guest asked for. It was nice to know that someone enjoyed it!

Re: went to a shower and want the recipe...
I asked her and here it is:
Sesame Noodles
1/2 pound whole wheat spaghetti or soba noodles Salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons sesame oil, divided 1/2 cup Italian dressing 1/4 - 1/3 cup peanut butter 1 tablespoon light soy sauce 1 tablespoon housin sauce 2 teaspoons grated ginger 2 scallions, snipped 2 handfuls (about 1/2 pound) of snow peas, blanched 1 cup peas, blanched 1 clove garlic, grated 1 palmful toasted sesame seeds and/or slivered almonds
Place a large pot of salted water over high heat and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the noodles and cook according to the package directions to al dente. Drain & add 1 tablespoon sesame oil & some Italian dressing.
Heat the peanut butter, sesame oil, soy sauce and a pinch of freshly ground black pepper in a small saucepot over low heat. Stir to combine.
Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet and toss with remaining ingredients.
