oh i love these and wanted roman shades but heard they were expensive but these are a great price.

did you get them online or in the store and do they have to be cut to size or do they just sell standard sizes?

I bought them on-line. There's a JCP near my house so it's easy returns...

I bought standard size, I needed an outside mount so it didn't have to be perfect.

I bought the 39 x 64.

I believe they custom make them too for you - on the JCP website look for the shades titled "Made to measure". You give them your window dimensions and they'll make the size you need.

Thank you

I think I am going to measure tonight and order

would you say the colors are similar to the ones they show online?

were they pretty easy to install?

and what is an outside mount?

also do you just have those on the window or do you also have curtains?

sorry for all the questions

Hmmm - it's hard to say about the colors. The shades were darker in person. But it could have been just my monitor.... you know?

Easy to install? My DH did two windows in about 3 hours. I heard him huffing and puffing so I would say they were not easy, but not difficult.

We have double hung windows they open up and down so we had to mount the shades to our molding. If you have casement windows - the ones that crank, you can mount them on the inside of the molding - so the shade is almost flush with the window....

We have them alone, no curtains on either side - but I do plan on attaching a cornice valance.
