If you've been approved for a FHA loan, how long did it take from applying to approval? TIA

we were pre-approved and it had taken us i think about a month or two to get the mortgage satisfied because we had to paint the house, repair termite damage before we were allowed to close.

Pretty quick as well, we were pre-approved, went into contract, filled out the formal loan application. I think from the time we sent them back the application to when we got the committment was like a week or so, maybe two.
