Q for WW people
So, I want to do WW again but I can't find the card that has the point ranges. I have about 5 different food trackers, one point calculator, two food companions, a dining companion, assorted menu & recipe booklets, but of all these things I cannot for the life of me find the point ranges. Does anyone remember/know where the points are listed? Is it only in the get started brochure, which I seem to have thrown out. I would prefer not having to sign up again just to get the point ranges
TIA!!

Re: Q for WW people
It's now in the pocket guide. It's different from when I first started. The minimum target points is 18.
1) What do you weigh? Enter the first two digits of your weight in lbs.
2) Are you: Female - add 2 pts Maile - add 8 pts
3) How old are you: 17-26 - add 4 pts 27-37 - add 3 pts 38-47 - add 2 pts 48-58 - add 1 pt over 58 - add 0 pts
4) How tall are you: Under 5'1" - add 0 pts 5'1"-5'1-" = add 1pt Over 5'10" - add 2 pts
5) How do you spend most of your work day: Sitting down - add 0 pts (Office worker) Occasionally sitting but mostly standing - add 2 pts (sales person, mom) Walking - add 4 pts (postal carrier) Doing physically hard work - add 6 pts (construction worker)

Re: Q for WW people
thanks! this is so helpful.
how different is it from when you started? i am wondering if I should sign up. i did it briefly a year ago. there were the food points as well as making sure i eat a certain amt of fruits/veg/milk/water (that i think has remained consistent from yrs ago). plus, there's the column for tracking the filling foods (diamond symbol in the food companion) hmmm.....
do you use the online tools much and do you find them helpful? i found it easier for me to just keep track manually on paper b/c I can write things down as I go through the day and not need to be on a computer or remember to enter it into the computer. But are there advantages to tracking online?

Re: Q for WW people
It's pretty much the same as that. I had done it back in 2003 so things were different then - they gave you a range based on weight, they didn't take into account the other factors I believe (except maybe male/female).
I tend to write it down as well - just because it's easier - but, the online tracker can be a bit more exact - something that you would calculate as 2pts would be 1.5 possibly (or 2.5)... My coworker, who I go with, does it that way.
I like now that they have the $39.95 monthly membership. That's the way I did it.

Re: Q for WW people
that's good to know. thank you so much! your info has been so helpful in deciding whether to sign up or not. I think i'm going to try it on my own first. i'd rather not fork over the $40/ month since I'm not working. but if I don't do well w/o it, I'll sign up.
