Question about carry-on luggage
Has anyone ever carried on a full size garment bag? DH says he's carried it on lots of times, but it looks kind of big to me....I wonder if we will need to check it.

Re: Question about carry-on luggage
My boss does this, but I always think the same thing. It doesn't seem that it would fit the regulations which is usually 22 inches on the longest side.
He lives in a different state, so I have never seen how he gets away with it, but he shows up at meetings with it & claims he awlays carries on.
I have a 21 inch rolliler that has a garmet bag attachement for the inner flap, but I haven't used it yet. Like this

Re: Question about carry-on luggage
Yes, they will hang it up for you in the front closet if there's room. Actually, even if there's not room, in my experience they'll squeeze it in anyway.
I've switched to a rolling garment bag, and I can't remember if I usually check it...
