Well its official...
Jacob needs organic food. I tried cereal again today after last months horror show, and 4 hrs after eating it he was screaming in pain, his abdomen was distended, crapping up a storm and farting uncontrollably. He napped for a total of 1 hr today, and was so overtired tonight that it took him 2 hrs of screaming to fall asleep. I called the ped and he told me to forget the cereal and wait 48 hrs and try fruits (organic) if that goes well, then go to vegetables and then if that goes well go back to cereal... i just dont know. I tried rice, and oatmeal and both were horrific. I hope the organic is better for him. The Dr. thinks he prob has a gluten allergy. GREAT! Every step i take with this baby is a problem, its so discouraging... and exhausting.. I just hope he sleeps tonite. He is beyond tired and so am I! Pray for me....

If its any help Miranda did great on fruits. Now that she's 8 months old she eats everything but I limit rice, banannas and apples because they are constipating.
I've always used organic from day 1 because I just feel like there little systems don't need all the junk in non organic food.

Oh God, I am SO SORRY you are going through this. I will say a for you and the baby that you get some sleep and that you can find something his little belly can handle.
I'm sorry I dont have advice, you know I'm just new at this myself. But I know how horrible it is to have a baby in pain and not be able to help them.

 I am so sorry you have to deal with so much. Poor Jacob, I sure hope he feels better soon and gives you a break. You both are in my prayers.

I have a sample of organic rice cereal here and coupons for Earth's Best organic baby food if you want.
does organic mean you could make your own fruits and veggies?

Sounds like an allergy. I would get the baby to a good ped allergist. If your child has allergies that bad you will need help to understand his diet restrictions and how to work with those. Good Luck.
