Need opinions on new bed...
We are upgrading to a king and have decided on a mattress but need a bed. We can't get one that matches our furniture and I don't want brass or wrought iron (already have that - want something different). I'm liking these two - what do you think?
Bed one
Bed two
They are both the same price. Sorry about the poll - hit the wrong button before I could add "neither" or "like them both equally". TIA.

Im not crazy about either, buttttt I think if #1 had less of those "holes" (sorry... the name of name escapes me at the moment), then that would be my choice... #2 is nice - just too plain for my taste
Can you tell me what mattress you went for? Im having trouble deciding on a king since i just ordered a bedroom set and will be needing the mattress soon

I like the look of one better - I'm a big fan of tufting though - my taste is more traditional.
What does you room look like?

it would help to see the room they would be going in and the other furniture. If I had to pick without seeing the room, I would choose #2. I think #1 may be a bother to clean, dust getting in and around those buttons would drive me nuts

I really like both of them. I think, as another poster mention if you have more of a traditional feel to your room I would go with 1. If it is more simple I would go with #2.

We are getting the Tempurpedic Classic - DH insisted on a Tempurpedic and it was the only one we could agree on without spending a fortune.
My room has Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors, transitional furniture I guess you'd call it (bow front, brushed nickel knobs, square corners, square but tapered legs), small chandelier. My furniture is a lighter color (like a caramel color) so I figured a leather or fabric bed would be my best choice. Here's a photo of my furniture but mine has darkened with age:

#2 goes better with your furniture. I think #1 is more traditional looking. GL picking your bed.
