Nap vent.....
Why does it take close to two hours to get to this point??????
So now its 5:30pm and he all nestled into bed!  I want him to be up now!!! Its getting to be an everyday struggle that he gives in to, just too late in the day! grrrrrr
Vent over!

OMG, how cute is that!
I hear you on the nap thingy though. While Andrew clearly needs his and more often than not goes down easily, it's becoming later and later in the day, to the point where his naps are from 3 p.m. on. Which means when his bedtime comes around, he's often up later. But with a newborn, I am picking my battles now.... at least he's napping, right?

I had a similar problem today. Only napped for 1/2 hour today. So he was in bed for the night at 6:45. I know I will regret it in the morning. I hope he sleeps until at least 6:30.

Maybe we can set up a playdate around 9:00 PM. My DD also likes a late nap and therefore stays up late.
I was just thinking the otherday how nice it would be to go to bed before midnight!

usually - 8:30pm to 8-9am - so in and around 11 to 12 hours. Of course since he napped late tonight he went down around 10pm.
I realize that soon he will needs less sleep, maybe 10 or so - but I swear he still needs naps, he is a bear without them and when he gives in and crashes he will sleep for 2-3 hours in the afternoon.
I think I might have to wake him up earlier  did I just say that????? Thing is I kinda need him to sleep later cause I stay up working late most night and sleep in along with him in the am.

I gave up over here. No naps, usually. Gabriella sleeps 12-13 hours at night and is usually fine during the day. If anything, we cuddle on the couch and have some quiet time.
