Stupid design question....
I have a big rectangular dining room table with 6 chairs... do you put all 6 chairs around the table or do you leave the end ones off to the side of the room (ours would specifically be on either side of the china cabinet)? If it makes any difference, I plan on adding a runner

I would put all chairs around the table as long as there is room to walk around it.

I would put all 6 chairs around the table. I have 8 chairs and they are around the whole table.
Do you not have room for all of them around the table?

in my experience, usually if the chairs fit around the table people leave them. The people you typically see with the chairs on the side or elsewhere are those where the chairs dont fit, or they only do with the leaf in and the people leave the leaf out.

No there's still room for the chairs... No leaves in bc we dont have that much room to work with... Just wondering what looked better... I tried both ways and the 6 chairs def looks better... Thanks guys!
