I am a graduate!
Yesterday was my last visit with RE; he's cleared me to move forward with an OB/GYN. I was told to stop PIO shots, Estrace, Aspirin); he is confident that things are looking good. I'm so excited, but so scared to have "cut the cord" with the RE. Now I'm off to make my first OB appt.

Re: I am a graduate!
Congrats!!! Its scary leaving the RE. I was very afraid because I was so comfortable there and I felt like it was very protective environment where they are watching things very closely. Its definitely different going to the regular ob, you will miss all your sonos that is for sure, but its also a great feeling knowing you've made it.

Re: I am a graduate!
SO exciting! I know it can be so scary to finally leave a doctor's office we all wished we never had to go to. With my DS, I actually cried leaving my RE's office at my last appointment before moving on to my regular OBGYN.... and they are brothers! THe hardest part was the lack of weekly sonos!
Hang in there! I hope you have smooth sailing from here to the end!

I am 8 weeks, graduated at 7.5 and I thought it was too early too, but he said I'm really doing well and that the PIO wasnt necessary anymore. He had thought about switching to suppositories when he saw me week 6, but said that wasnt necessary either.

Re: I am a graduate!
Thank you all so much for your well wishes and support. I'm still so nervous, especially about seeing the OB, b/c I know the care is going to be different; I guess I was getting too used to having such close f/u and communication with my RE. I'm really going to miss that.
