should I call Dr???
I started BCP's on Tuesday for my upcoming IVF cycle and they told me that if I experience any cramping in my calf to call since there is an increased risk of blood clots with BCP's. Now I have never had a problem before with this, but today I am having some cramping/tingling in my lower leg/calf area. What would you do? Should I call?? I've only been on them for 3 days.

Re: should I call Dr???
Ok, so I just emailed Dr B. and he wrote back right away saying my calf would be tender and painful to the touch if it were a blood clot. From what he said I do not think that's what it is. A couple years ago I hd a pinched nerve that radiated from my hip down to my toe, and that is what it feels like again. I am relieved now.

Re: should I call Dr???
if you have a clotting disorder like i do.. not all people feel pain the same way... I just had this conversation with my re... After i started the BCP for my fist cycle i had a warm spot on my leg and it was pulsating a lot. It didnt go away until i was on lovenox.. for my next ivf cycle he is not putting me on bcp... please be careful and continue to call him if you still feel uncomfortable
