Lone Star Tick
I thought it was too early for tick season, but I guess it never is.
We pulled a lone star tick off our dog this morning. It was a huge female, which I was actually happy about, the little ticks are so much harder to find.
We are not in or near a wooded area, nor near any tall grass. We just did our usual walk of the neighborhood, on the sidewalk and street. He is into eating the grass lately, hence why the tick was on his nose.
I can see this is going to be a great tick season.

It is bad already...my 3 1/2 year old daughter pulled one of herself on Easter
