Question for the Ladies on Meds...

I am about 7 days past Ovidrel shot, and for the past 2 days i have been having a lot of bloating and sharp twinges/pangs in lower abdomen. I have had 3 femara cycles, and never had any problems. This cycle was my first injectibles cycle, so i am guessing it may be a side effect of the follistim/femara/ovidrel, but why so late in my cycle? I was so scared all month that i was going to hyperstim, but the day of the IUI (5 days ago), Dr. B said i was fine. Do you think its a large cyst ready to explode and kill me at my desk, or am i just a paranoid mess and need to relax?

Anyone have these pains this late in their cycle AFTER all the meds? Should I call Dr. B? I dont want to be "THAT girl"Chat Icon

I had the same bloat and twinges/cramps/pulls at 5DPIUI... Turned out to be a BFP! Chat Icon Chat Icon

I wouldn't worry too much unless the cramps start getting painful!

Totally normal. I did the same meds protocol with dr. B and felt exactly the same during the 2 ww.

not sure if this will help but that cycle technically i did conceive - it ended in a chemical. i do think that the specific pulling sensation in my stomach was related to conception (but not to the chemical necessarily since it occurred at around 7DPO as well). it felt like tugging.

are you on progesterone as well? i had all sorts of symptoms from that.

good luck!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Question for the Ladies on Meds...

I got a TON of uncomfortable bloating that started at around that point!! I was on femara, gonal-f and started progesterone in the 2ww.

Unfortunately for me it wasn't pregnancy related, but obviously that doesn't mean for you it's not a sign because it very well can be!! Chat Icon Good luck!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
