Pier 1 vs Bobs
I'm trying to find decent furniture for what DH & I can spend right now...
Anyone have any input on either manufacturer?
I'm liking this from Bob's
And this set from Pier 1..

my bedroom set itsnt from bobs but my mattress is
I also have a dining room set, rug, coffe and end tables and two couches from them and i love them all

I have my DS's bedroom set from bobs and couldn't be happier with the quality or the set. We couldn't really afford anything else so we went with bobs and they came set it up in like two shakes of a tail feather and it's beautiful. HTH

I have three couches, coffee table and two end tables from Bobs. Two of my couchs are great. They clean well, hold up to abuse, the reclining mechanisms work fine. The other couch is ripping at the seams and it gets 1/16 the use of the other two. The end tables and the coffee table are all falling apart already and we aren't very rough with them. I have a book case from target I got for $30 that held up way better.
I just got a dining room set from Gothic cabinet craft I love. I also purchased a unit for under the TV from Costco that is fantastic.

Our bedroom set is Pier 1. I have to say it's kinda crappy. It looks beautiful but the draws aren't smooth, It scratch so easily. One of my handles just cracked off one day.

My Pier 1 BR set is six years old and in great shape. However I have noticed that not all their stuff is created equal so I'd look in person. My DD's set is from Bobs and I love it but it's too soon to comment on quality.

our dining rooms set is from Pier 1 and we looooove it!!!
My best friend bought a Bedroom set at bobs and it's really nice, she loves it too!
