Make-up/Perfume at the gym...
While I understand some people go straight to the gym from work and don't always wash their face, i can NOT understand why a woman needs to climb on the stair climber next to me at 6am after BATHING in perfume... at 6am?? REALLY?! I physically couldn't breath and had to move machines...
Personally I can't work out with make-up.. even if I go after work I need to wash up before starting. I sweat so much my makeup end up sliding off my face.. I also tend to breakout.
Can anyone explain to me the reasoning behind wearing perfume to the gym?

I feel the same way. I go at night and so many times I get men on the treadmill next to me who just sprayed a whole bottle on themselves. Don't get it either!

There is a trainer at my gym who wears cologne, and it is so strong, it actually distracts me when Im trying to work out..

At my gym there are women who look as though they are dressed to go out at the gym!
I mean fancy workout outfits (I'm a little jelly @ this as I am too cheap to do such a thing lol), hair blown out and DOWN  , full face makeup 
Okay now I do not wash my face before I go so whatever makeup I have on is on, so I do wear makeup--but hair down? No way too hot!

I don't get it either. There are these two women in Body Pump every Saturday that clearly shower, do their hair and apply a vat of make up to work out. The look silly IMO. We're there to sweat not look pretty. Whatever....to each his own. The perfume thing would drive me bonkers though. Thank god I haven't had to deal with that.

I agree with you. I go mid morning with all the other stay at home mom's who have kids in pre-school and I can't even begin to tell you have there face made up and hair done. I don't get it and never will .

some women at my gym work out in bikini tops. well one. but you get the idea. pretty much they are there to try to hook up with a trainer or another member. flat out. and the staff all knows it.
i am one of those girls who shows up after work and looks like i'm trying but i'm not. i just don't bother washing off the make up and sometimes i dance with my hair down.
but on weekends, i definitely shower before the gym - i don't do my hair -- it's one of my quirks.

I haven't belonged to a gym in awhile, but remember the gym hookers at the last one I belonged to in Queens.
I now take a yoga class and have seen a couple young ladies on occasion who are over the top with what they are wearing (or not wearing I should say).
It's "hot" yoga, but still. There's no reason IMO that you should be wearing just a push-up bra showing huge amounts of cleavage.

It is funny to me....I sometimes get in the habit of going before work and when I do it is scrubbed face hair up sweats!

I have a few of those in my boot camp class... it cracks me up- this class is so hard core and they come decked

Neh, mine is NYSC Oceanside.
Last night a dude gets on the treadmill to my left REEKING of smoke.. nasty. And another guy gets on to the right of me drenched in cologne.
I'm considering wearing nose plugs from now on...
